EU proposes new data sharing regulation to support business, social cooperation

The European Commission has proposed a new EU regulation on data governance. The aim is to encourage an open data policy among public bodies and the corporate sector and increase data sharing for industrial cooperation and economic development. The new framework would encourage neutral intermediaries that could facilitate data sharing without any conflict of interest, supporting greater trust among end-users.
