EU says competition improving after Google antitrust shopping case

There are signs some of Google's competitors are starting to benefit following the EUR 2.4 billion antitrust fine imposed on the company last year over its shopping service, according European competition commissioner Margrethe Vestager. Although it's still too early to judge Google's reforms and in spite concerns from rivals, Vestager cited figures to show that competition was improving.
