EU starts work on 5G cybersecurity certification scheme

The EU's cybersecurity agency Enisa announced it's starting work on a 5G cybersecurity certification scheme, following a request from the European Commission. The certification of 5G equipment for security standards forms part of the EU's 'tool box' of measures aimed at protecting the new generation of mobile networks from potential threats.
