EU telecoms groups, Berec back ex ante regulation of digital gatekeepers

The European telecoms industry has come out in favour of a new ex ante regulatory framework to control large digital platforms. The telecom operators group ETNO and its mobile counterpart GSMA gave their backing in a response to the European Commission's consultation on the proposal, as did the assembly of EU telecommunications regulators, Berec.
