EU threatens Facebook with fines if consumer info doesn't improve by year-end

Facebook has not done enough to improve its terms of service in line with EU consumer protection rules, justice commissioner Vera Jourova said. The company was warned already in February to take action, and if there is no improvement by the end of this year, Facebook can expect sanctions, she said.
