EU wants 2-6% tax on revenues for large internet companies

French Finance minister Bruno Le Maire has confirmed that in the coming weeks, the EU will publish details of a new directive changing the way multinational internet giants are taxed. In an interview with French paper JDD, Le Maire revealed that a new tax would be imposed on revenues with a rate ranging from 2 to 6 percent, adding that it would be skewed more towards the 2 percent mark.
