European SMEs facing more tech challenges after pandemic - Enisa

Phishing is the most common cyber incident faced by SMEs in the European Union, estimated at 25 million and employing over 100 million, according to a study from EU cybersecurity agent Enisa. Phishing attacks are among the most common cyber incidents SMEs are likely to be exposed to, in addition to ransomware attacks, stolen laptops and "CEO frauds." These lure employees into acting upon the instructions of a fraudulent email that looks like it came from their CEO, usually requesting a payment to be performed in urgency under business-like circumstances.
