Eutelsat posts 4% EBITDA drop in fiscal H1, confirms financial guidance

Friday 14 February 2020 | 13:28 CET | News
Satellite operator Eutelsat reported EBITDA of EUR 495.5 million in the six months to December (H1 2019/2020), down 4.4 percent year-on-year. The EBITDA margin contracted by nearly 1 percentage point at constant currency to 77.9 percent. CEO Rodolphe Belmer said he was satisfied with this level of profitability, which was achieved with a strong cost discipline at Eutelsat's core business. The lower EBITDA result mainly reflected falling revenues and higher costs linked to the Broadband operations.
