Eutelsat sells additional Ku capacity to Global Eagle for North-American coverage

Eutelsat announced a multi-transponder agreement for Ku capacity with its long-standing partner Global Eagle, a specialist in in-flight and at-sea connectivity. The multi-year contract covers the entire North-American footprint of Eutelsat's 7A satellite, enabling Global Eagle's aviation customers to benefit from increased capacity. The satellite will be renamed Eutelsat 139WA, said the company.
