Expway to demonstrate LTE Broadcast with Intel

Expway announced the first public demonstration on Intel platforms of LTE Broadcast, the 3GPP standard also known as eMBMS. Expway's eMBMS middleware runs on Intel's LTE platform with the Intel XMM 7160 modem and takes place during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The eMBMS platform allows carriers to lower their cost-per-bit by offloading up to 20 percent of mobile video traffic and other large files without requiring new infrastructure.
