EY questions Wirecard's third-party business in Asia - report

Ernst & Young has questioned the entire third-party business in Asia of Wirecard, the insolvent German payments company, Suddeutsche Zeitung, NDR and WDR reported citing a letter sent by EY to the management team of the firm. The auditors also criticised the company's information policy. Documents such as bank statements or account opening receipts, despite several requests, were not delivered.
