Ezetap secures USD 8 mln in funding

India-based mPOS services provider Ezetap raised USD 8 million from Helion and existing investors Social Capital Partnership and Berggruen. Ezetap enables mobile phones to function as card reading machines for real-time bill payments. Its card payment service comprises a card reader, a mobile app, and a platform that facilitates integration with a merchant's existing technology.
