F2i says no offer received for Metroweb stake – report

Italian infrastructure fund F2i has yet to receive any offers for its stake in Milan-based broadband provider Metroweb, according to an unnamed source cited by Reuters. "As of today no expressions of interest for Metroweb have arrived, the issue will not be discussed at the next board meeting at the end of November," said the F2i source. There has been speculation that other operators such as Telecom Italia and Vodafone could be interested in acquiring F2i's stake.
