Facebook adjusts data policy after probe by Dutch data protection authority

Facebook has adjusted its data policy after an investigation by the Dutch Data Protection Authority AP. The regulator concluded in mid-May that Facebook was acting in violation of Dutch privacy legislation. It said the company had not fully informed users about how it used personal data. The investigation looked at how the personal data of 9.6 million Dutch Facebook users was processed
