Facebook announces new data centre in Altoona, Iowa

Facebook has announced its newest data centre, located in Altoona, Iowa, is now online. The company's new Altoona data centre joins its other data centres in Prineville, Forest City and Lulea. Altoona is Facebook's first data centre to take advantage of its new networking fabric, which will help the company scale more efficiently as more people connect on Facebook.
