Facebook buys Israeli bot start-up Servicefriend for Libra service

Facebook has acquired Israeli AI bot start-up Servicefriend although no financial details about the takeover have been provided, according to TechCrunch. A Facebook spokesperson confirmed the acquisition, saying it buys smaller technology companies from time to time but does not always discuss its plans.
