Facebook buys VR gaming studio Ready At Dawn

Tuesday 23 June 2020 | 13:08 CET | News
Facebook has bought Ready At Dawn, a gaming studio specialised in VR. The operations will go under Facebook's Oculus, the unit said in a blog. Ready At Dawn earlier created four titles for the Oculus Platform, namely Lone Echo, Echo Arena, Echo Combat, and Lone Echo II, currently in development. The studio will continue to create immersive VR content for gamers, as an independently-operated studio, and from their current offices in Irvine (California) and Portland (Oregon), Facebook said. The entire Ready At Dawn team will be joining Oculus Studios.
