Facebook buys VR gesture-control company Pebbles

Facebook is to buy Israeli gesture-control company Pebbles, Calcalist reported. Oculus, the virtual-reality headset maker that Facebook bought last year, said Pebbles will be joining its hardware engineering and computer vision teams to help advance virtual reality, tracking, and human-computer interactions. It did not disclose a price tag, but a source put the amount at around USD 60 million.
