Facebook CEO outlines plans for social virtual reality

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced at Mobile World Congress the company's plans to expand in virtual reality. He appeared at the Samsung press conference to highlight the use of technology from Facebook subsidiary Oculus in the Samsung Gear VR headset. Samsung is promoting the Gear VR, launched last November, by giving it away free to the first buyers of its new Galaxy S7 smartphones. Zuckerberg said over 20,000 360 videos have already been uploaded to the social network, and "millions of people" watch 360 videos on Facebook every day.
