Facebook and Dropbox have announced the launch of a new feature that makes it easier to share photos, videos and other files in the iOS and Android versions of Facebook Messenger. Users simply need to select the "more" tab in Messenger when they want to share a file. Dropbox will now be listed as one of the available options, with videos, photos and GIFs all displayed automatically within the Messenger app. For all other file types, users will be shown an "open" option that automatically takes them to the Dropbox app, where they can preview and save files. The feature has already started rolling out and will be available more broadly soon, said Facebook.
