Facebook exempts VIPs from social network's content enforcement policies - report

VIPs such as politicians, celebrities and journalists may be exempt from Facebook's content moderation policies, according to documents seen by the Wall Street Journal. The paper said some people on the social network appear to be 'white-listed', so they are not subject to the same restrictions or enforcement on posting offensive material.
