Facebook expects Danish data centre to start ops in 2020

Facebook officially confirmed its plans for a third European data centre in Odense in Denmark at a press meeting in the town hall on 19 January, according to regional newspaper Fyen.dk. The social media company will invest billions in the facility on a half-million square metre site in the Tietgenbyen commercial district, it said. The data centre will create up to 150 jobs of various types.
