Facebook faces new fines in Russia after refusing takedown orders

Four additional cases from Russian communications regulator Roskomnadzor against Facebook have arrived at the Moscow Taganka tribunal, reports Interfax. No deliberation date has been set yet. The cases cover the social network's refusal to remove content banned by Russian law. If the appeals are upheld, the company could face fines up to RUB 16 million.
