Facebook introduces newly transparent ad library and stricter rules

Friday 29 March 2019 | 10:26 CET | News
Facebook has announced the launch of a revamped Ad Library with a view to increasing transparency after its ads were used to influence recent elections the world over, above all the 2016 US presidential elections. The improved Ad Library brings together all ads on the social network's platforms and replaces Ad Archive in the US. Anyone can now search all active ads about anything, as well as inactive political and issue ads.
