Facebook joins industry call for FISA request disclosure

Facebook is joining the internet industry (Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and others) in calling for more transparency from the US government about its requests for user information because "the actions and statements of the US government have not adequately addressed the concerns of people around the world about whether their information is safe and secure with internet companies". Facebook has filed a motion with the FISC (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court) to this end.
