Facebook launches monetisation for online events, makes dig at Apple

Facebook has launched a new feature to help organisers make money from their online events. Page owning businesses, creators, educators and organisers will be able to create their online event, set a price, promote the event, collect payment and host the event, all in one place. The new Pages feature is available in 20 countries around the world, including the US, that meet partner monetization policies.
