Facebook leads German smartphone, tablet apps in September

Facebook had the most widely used applications in Germany in September for both tablet and smartphone users, E-Plus reported, citing Statista. It said 66 percent of smartphone customers used the Facebook app, as did 46.5 percent of tablet users. Among smartphone users, Statista said the WhatsApp Messenger app came second, having been used by 48.8 percent of customers. Third was YouTube at 35.8 percent. Among German tablet users, Statista said the Safari app came in second place, having been used by 28 percent of users in September. It was followed by the YouTube tablet app in third place at
