Facebook lifts revenues 33%, profit 53% in strong end to 2020

Facebook reported a strong end to 2020, propelled by ad revenues benefitting from the lockdown-induced shift towards online commerce. This trend could change, the company noted, with the consequence reduction in ad revenue growth. Other headwinds for advertising could this year come from platform changes, notably iOS 14, and an evolving regulatory landscape.
