Facebook pays EUR 34 mln to settle back taxes in Spain - report

Facebook has finalised an agreement with Spanish tax authorities to pay EUR 34.4 million in order to settle corporate tax claims dating from 2013 to 2018, sources familiar with the matter told El Pais. After reaching a preliminary deal at the end of 2019, the company made an initial payment of EUR 14.4 million at the start of this year and the remainder will be paid by the end of 2020.
