Facebook postpones launch of Dating feature in EU on concerns from privacy watchdog

Ireland's Data Protection Commission said Facebook has postponed the rollout of its new Dating feature in the EU, set to come out on 13 February. The Commission rued the fact it was only notified of the plans on 3 February and expressed "concern" about the fact that it had not received any information or documentation about the feature in relation to the Data Protection Impact Assessment. It also did not get any information about the decision-making processes undertaken by Facebook Ireland. As a result, the Commission went to the offices of Facebook Ireland on 10 February to gather
