Facebook publishes privacy principles for first time, ahead of GDPR

Facebook has announced that it will be sharing its privacy rules for the first time as part of a campaign to make it easier for users to find and control their privacy settings. The company has also prepared a set of educational videos to help users understand how data is used on Facebook and how they can manage it. The videos included in News Feed "help you get information on important privacy topics like how to control what information Facebook uses to show you ads, how to review and delete old posts, and even what it means to delete your account," said the company's chief privacy officer
