Facebook researches AI systems that analyse first-person video in Ego4D project

Facebook has announced Ego4D, a long-term project by Facebook AI for analysis of first-person video recorded via GoPro cameras and AR-glasses. It consists of two elements, namely an open dataset of egocentric video collected with the help of partner universities, and a series of benchmarks that Facebook believes AI systems should be able to handle in the future.
