Facebook selects London for global WhatsApp mobile payments push

Facebook has selected London as a base for driving a global expansion of WhatsApp mobile payments. A Facebook spokesperson told Bloomberg that it selected the UK as the base because it attracts talent from countries where WhatsApp is popular, such as India.
