Facebook to bring online jobs portal to Germany

Friday 25 May 2018 | 11:09 CET | News
Facebook is bringing its recruitment portal, Facebook Jobs, to Germany, reported business publication WirtschaftsWoche (WiWo). The social network aims to become a broker for regional vacancies with small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the Mittelstand, and in manual trades. Facebook Jobs should thus close a gap in the search for employment online given that larger, nationwide firms are usually at the centre of job portals and career sites, wrote WiWo.
