Facebook to inform all German users affected by data breach

Facebook has told the German government that it will inform all of its users whose data may have been breached or used illegally in wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal, reported Heise Online. Representatives from the social network met with German Federal Justice Minister Katarina Barley to discuss Facebook's role in the scandal and its response to it. While it remains unclear exactly how many German users were impacted by the Cambridge Analytica data breach, Barley said the German government is pushing the company for further information.
