Facebook to invest USD 100 mln more in Journalism Project during coronavirus crisis

Facebook plans to invest USD 100 million in the news industry, to make sure accurate reporting is available, especially during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the company said. Of the total, USD 25 million will be in the form of emergency grant funding for local news through the Facebook Journalism Project. About USD 75 million in additional marketing spend will go to news organisations around the world.
