Facebook, Twitter, Google executives to testify about Russia and US election

Executives from Facebook, Twitter and Google have been asked to testify about Russia's alleged interference in the 2016 US election before a House of Representatives panel on 01 November, according to an unnamed congressional aide cited by Reuters. Executives from the companies were already due to appear the same day before the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is also investigating Moscow's alleged role in the election, said the report.
