Facebook withdraws plan for new class of shares giving Zuckerberg control

Facebook has withdrawn a proposal to create a new class of its shares in order to give CEO Mark Zuckerberg continued voting control of the company. The decision comes ahead of the start of a lawsuit brought by other shareholders against the company over alleged conflicts of interest in the way the plan was decided, the Wall Street Journal reported.
