Fantastic-5G to develop future-proof interface for 5G

A group of 16 leading telecom players have set up FANTASTIC-5G, short for Flexible Air iNTerfAce for Scalable service delivery within wIreless Communication networks of the 5th Generation. The project, which wants to develop a flexible air interface for 5G networks going forward, has received EUR 8 million of funding from the European Commission under the EU's Horizon 2020 initiative.
