Fault on Eutelsat 5 West B satellite sees Fransat lose BeIN Sports, OCS and other channels

French satellite TV operator Fransat, a Eutelsat subsidiary, said that it will be forced to stop distributing several pay-TV channels due to the fault recently found on Eutelsat's 5 West B satellite. As announced in January, this satellite will only operate at 45 percent of its originally planned capacity, disrupting the migration of channels from Eutelsat 5 West A, due for replacement.
