FCC chair pushes for broadband investment

FCC chairman Ajit Pai announced at an American Cable Association summit that he intends to push for the removal of what he described as "heavy-handed economic regulations" that are currently preventing continued infrastructure investment. He said the FCC would seek a review of the Commission's 2015 decision to reclassify broadband Internet access as a telecom service and subject it to Title II regulation.
