FCC Office of Legislative Affairs appoints deputy director

Andrew Woelfling, a top aide to Rep. John D. Dingell, has been appointed as deputy director of the FCC's Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA), effective 30 June. Woelfling currently serves as Rep. Dingell's deputy chief of staff and legislative director. Prior to working for Rep. Dingell, Woelfling was a professional staff member on the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection, chaired by Rep. Bobby Rush. He also worked at the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association and DaimlerChrysler in each organisation's government affairs divisions.
