FCC probe concludes mobile carriers unlawfully shared customer location data with third parties

FCC commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel said in a responding letter that the conclusion was a long time coming, following press reports about the matter in May 2018. Additional reporting found that data was accessed by "hundreds of bounty hunters and related businesses."
