FCC report says up to 67% of country may be eligible for 5G subsidies

Up to 67 percent of the US territory could be eligible for federal 5G subsidies according to a report produced by the FCC. The report on potential areas in need of support was released ahead of a vote later this month by the FCC on whether to move ahead with awarding subsidies based on the current data or wait to collect better figures on broadband availability.
