FCC to fine mobile carriers for sharing customer location data - report

The Federal Communications Commission is expected to soon announce the fines it will impose on mobile carriers that failed to protect consumer real-time location data, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. The fines could go higher than USD 200 million.
