FCC unveils new mobile coverage maps

The Federal Communications Commission released a new set of maps showing mobile service coverage and availability in the US as reported by the major mobile operators. The Broadband Data Task Force published a new map that shows data on LTE mobile broadband coverage and availability throughout the US. This first-of-its-kind map provides the public with more information on mobile service coverage while the FCC works to fully implement its Broadband Data Collection program.
