Few German firms would pay to have fibre installed - survey

More than half of industrial firms in Germany (57%) use a fibre connection, according to a survey conducted by the digital association Bitkom of more than 500 companies employing more than 50 people. Around 18 percent have their own dedicated fibre connection, and 38 percent use a fibre-based DSL or cable connection.
