Fiber Nederland acquires Stipte

Monday 18 January 2016 | 08:48 CET | News
Fiber Nederland has acquired Stipe. Stipte, previously known as Scarlet, was acquired by its management in 2014. Fiber NL is led by Martijn van Scherpenzeel, founder of the energy company Oxxio. Stipte's director Matthijs van Kamp will join Stipte's management. Together the two companies have around 70 employees, and both are active offering triple-play services on KPN's open FTTH networks. No financial details of the takeover were announced.  The merged company is expected to maintain the two separate brands.
