Fibre broadband available to 95% of Notts premises

Superfast fibre broadband is now available to 95 percent of homes and businesses across Nottinghamshire, one year ahead of the Government's national target. This news comes as the Better Broadband for Nottinghamshire (BBfN) partnership completes the first phase of its fibre broadband programme. BBfN is a partnership between Nottinghamshire County Council and BT. Work on the second phase to extend fibre broadband coverage to 98 percent of premises by 2018 is now moving forward. Over a quarter of the homes and businesses (27%) in areas covered by the first phase of BBfN have already signed up
