Fibre broadband set to reach over 300 mln homes in Europe by 2026

The FTTH Council Europe has updated its forecasts for fibre roll-out and take-up in Europe. The new estimates by Idate for the industry group see around 302 million homes in 39 countries passed by FTTH/B in 2026, up from 204 million this year. Around two-thirds of homes passed (65.3%) are expected to subscribe to the services by the same date.
